12 Days of Giving

One of the first projects I led after I joined Canandaigua National Bank & Trust as the Social Media & Digital Content Manager was to highlight the bank’s charitable giving during the holiday season. Previously the bank had not shared their story of philanthropy and community support as a means to bring visibility to the mission of each organization. Working with the Director of Community Engagement and members of CNB’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee we selected 12 local organizations to receive funds.

The DEI Committee oversees $100K in pro-active charitable giving each year. Each organization that is selected to receive funds has been recommended by a member of the committee. Very often the employee is involved in the organization as a volunteer or donor.

This campaign was a huge hit, and it was a great way for me to open up the bank’s social media content to better reflect the bank’s dedication to supporting the local community.
